AID FOR UKRAINE
We are devastated by the frightening events unfolding in Ukraine, as millions of Ukranian citizens flee their country, while others are trapped, attacked, and killed in their own homes. BY FAR is closely monitoring this tragic situation and constantly looking for ways to help and support all those severely affected by the war.
In response to the escalating refugee crisis, we partnered with Endeavor Bulgaria and SOS Children’s Villages to initiate and financially support a project that provides accommodation to refugees from Ukraine in the SOS village Dren in Bulgaria. The organisation is working to provide essential services, including healthcare, education, and social programs to children and their families who have crossed into Bulgaria for safety.
We also introduced a week-long charity sale where proceeds would be donated solely to UNICEF’s work to help children and their families in Ukraine.
We will continue to donate funds and support, and we want to encourage our community to seek ways to help the people of Ukraine in this time of need. Below we will list a few charities and organisations that you can choose to support.
UNICEF is working with partners to reach vulnerable children and families with essential services – including health, education, protection, water and sanitation – as well as life-saving supplies.
The World Food Programme (WFP) has launched an emergency operation to provide food assistance for people fleeing the conflict inside Ukraine and in neighbouring countries.
Care is providing emergency crisis support to millions of Ukrainians, prioritising those most affected by the conflict: women, children, the elderly and families.
UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency provides life-saving aid and protection to refugees and people forced to flee.
